Former Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown took to Instagram Wednesday morning to apologize to quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

“I never realized how good I had it,” said Brown.

He went on to express remorse for his past actions, and acknowledge how dynamic they were on the field together.

His sentiments echo similar comments he made on 93.7 The Fan last Thursday, where he apologized to the Steelers organization, Roethlisberger and head coach Mike Tomlin for his previous missteps and fallout with the franchise.

Brown and Roethlisberger played nine seasons together, forming one of the most productive duos in NFL history. The pair combined for 74 touchdown passes and nearly 11,000 yards.

The Steelers traded Brown to the Oakland Raiders last off-season, but he was ultimately released before ever appearing in a game.

He was then claimed by the New England Patriots, playing in just one game before being cut again on September 20th.

Brown is currently a free agent.
