Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has been arrested in Florida for failing to pay his child support, according to court documents.

Brown was arrested outside of his Dania Beach, Florida home, booked into the Broward County, Florida jail on Sunday and subsequently released on a $15,000 bond.

Brown has had several warrants issued for his arrest for non-payment of child support over the last few years, but has never actually been arrested.

He held a multi-day standoff with police attempting to serve a warrant in Tampa, Florida in 2022 after allegedly throwing a shoe at his ex-fiancee. That caused Tampa Police to request a risk protection order that was denied by a judge.

This warrant was filed in Miami-Dade County Florida, with Wiltrice Jackson, the mother of Brown’s daughter Antanyiah, telling TMZ that Brown owes here over $30,000 in back child support.

“I do want him arrested,” she told TMZ. “Because, right now, he’s making a mockery out of the judge, out of everything, because he feels like he’s untouchable.”

After his release, Brown went on a profane rant about the situation on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“America only care about ruining my name n taking payments for my long d***,” Brown wrote. “Just me myself and all my millions.”

Brown has five children in total, including three sons and a daughter with Chelsie Kyriss. He also has a son with Shameika Brailsford.

Brown has claimed that his erratic behavior in his post-playing career, which has been defined by multiple legal entanglements, is because he has CTE from his playing days. CTE cannot be positively diagnosed during the lifetime of an individual.

After quitting on his last NFL team mid-game, Brown has said that he is retired from football, but he also said that he would play for the arena football team he owned this spring, the Albany Empire. The team was kicked out of the league for his failure to pay league dues before he could suit up.
