Antonio Brown’s business is finished, at least in Allegheny County.
The former Steelers wide receiver appeared at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Tuesday to deal with charges stemming from a February incident. Brown was pulled over for traveling in excess of 100 mph on McKnight Road in Ross Township.
Brown, who according to court documents, was represented by attorney James Hankle, had been charged with reckless driving, which comes with an automatic suspension of driving privileges.
Instead, he pled guilty to a lesser charge, failing to drive at a safe speed, which carries points and a fine, but not a suspension.
In an Instagram post, Brown invited “all the fans I never got to say goodbye to” to come to the courthouse.
Brown was traded to the Oakland Raiders in March for third-round and fifth-round picks in the 2019 NFL Draft that the Steelers used to select wide receiver Diontae Johnson from Toledo and tight end Zach Gentry from Michigan.
