Brown signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Oct. 27, 2020 after serving an eight-game suspension for multiple violations of the league’s personal-conduct policy. Brown went on to win a Super Bowl and played one more season in Tampa Bay before calling it a career.

In the meantime, Brown was taking online classes at Central Michigan to finish his degree. Per the report from CNN in 2019, Brown was enrolled in Introduction to Management and an English class on Technical Writing.
