Arizona Drafts Tulsa LB Zaven Collins

The Arizona Cardinals selected Tulsa linebacker Zaven Collins with the 16th overall pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, the first player that was heavily linked to the Steelers to come off the board.

Collins is a 6-foot-4, 260-pounder and will likely fit into an edge rusher role for the Cardinals, who lost Haason Reddick to free agency after recording 12.5 sacks in 2020.

Collins had a massive 2020 season, winning the Bronko Nagurski and Chuck Bednarik Awards and collecting 53 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, four sacks and four interceptions for the Golden Hurricanes.
