Picked in the first round of April’s draft out of Minnesota, Bateman was chosen to provide another weapon for Jackson, as they continue to try and remedy their inconsistent passing game.
The Big Ten Receiver of the Year in 2019, Bateman caught 147 passes for 2,395 yards and 19 touchdowns over his three seasons with the Golden Gophers.
