Over the past two years with Omar Khan and Andy Weidl running the show, the Pittsburgh Steelers have invested a significant amount of resources in an effort to retool a previously spiraling offensive line. We’ve seen them make notable free agent signings, draft tackles in back to back first rounds and select their center of the future in that time frame. The team clearly wants to get back to being bullies in the trenches and on paper, it looks like they have the necessary talent to get there. The question is how long will that idea take until it’s fully formed?

It may take this young nucleus a little bit to gel before hitting their stride but the reward for that patience could be extremely exciting.
