The two fines were for a total of $23,870. It’s not clear for which exact plays Chase was fined. He was captured by a photographer giving two middle fingers to Pittsburgh Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick during the game.

Fitzpatrick got into it with several Bengals players throughout the game and was twice flagged for unnecessary roughness during the game.

Chase was one of a number of players fined for unsportsmanlike conduct in the first week of the season, along with Stefan Diggs and Jamal Adams. No Steelers were reported to have received a fine after Week 1.

The Steelers beat the Bengals, 23-20 on a Chris Boswell field goal at the end of overtime.
