Betting Line: Steelers Big Favorites over Cardinals

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be favored for the second week in a row, as their betting line for their Week 13 home game against the Arizona Cardinals opened with the Steelers a 6.5-point favorites, and it looks like they had better get used to that role.

The Steelers were favored for the second time in three weeks on their Week 11 trip to Cincinnati, and not only won, but covered the 2-point spread with their 16-10 victory on Sunday afternoon. They also covered as favorites in Week 10 against Green Bay.

As long as nothing drastic changes, the Steelers are in for a run of games as favorites. They follow the Cardinals game with a home date against the New England Patriots, who are currently in last place in the AFC at 2-9, then 6-5 Colts, the Bengals again, at home this time. The Steelers very well could not be an underdog again until they visit Seattle on New Year’s Eve.

The Steelers are 3-1 against the spread as favorites this year, so if they continue that ratio, they could be flipping the calendar with 10 wins already under their belts.

For this Sunday, the Steelers are -250 on the money line and the total is 39.5. Against the Bengals, the Steelers went under the total for the ninth time in 11 games this season.
