Black Monday NFL Coaching Changes

It’s Black Monday in the NFL.

With the regular season coming to an end last night, non-playoff teams (including the Steelers) have moved on to their post-season (not postseason) plans. This usually involves a lot of coaches getting fired and today is no exception.

Here’s what we have so far.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks is out after just one year.

Marvin Lewis is finally out as the coach of the Cincinnati Bengals after 16 years and 0 playoff victories.

Dolphins Coach Adam Gase was also terminated after a middling three seasons.

The first to get the ax, Denver fired head coach Vance Joseph this morning.

These four join the Todd Bowles who was fired by the Jets, Dirk Koetter, formerly of the Bucs, ex-Packers head coach Mike McCarthy and Hue Jackson who was fired by the Browns back on October 29th.
