Just hours before the start of the 2021 NFL season, bettors are not bullish on the Steelers.

According to data from SportsBetting.ag, just 2% of the total amount of money placed on futures bets to win Super Bowl LVI has been placed on the Steelers. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had the most action at 16%, followed by Kansas City, Green Bay, Buffalo, Cleveland, San Francisco and Baltimore.

The Steelers’ Super Bowl odds have fluctuated throughout the offseason, but they are currently listed at +4400 by FanDuel Sportsbook.

Inside the AFC North, things are only slightly less bleak, where 14% of the money at SportsBetting.ag is on the Steelers, behind Cleveland at 47% and Baltimore at 28%. Cincinnati claimed 11% of the bettors. Gamblers are also bearish on the Steelers’ win total, with 51% of the money betting on the team to win fewer than 8.5 games, their over/under line.
