Breaking Down Steelers Offseason Needs | Steelers Morning Rush

Steelers

Welcome to Steelers Morning Rush, our new daily short-form podcast with Alan Saunders, giving a longer perspective on a single news topic surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers or the National Football League. Today’s it’s the team’s needs entering the 2025 offseason.

As always, Alan broke down holes on the roster, prioritizing current starting needs, current depth needs and future needs to highlight where Omar Khan and Mike Tomlin should be focused on in free agency and the build up to the 2025 NFL Draft. There are big holes at wide receiver, cornerback and most importantly, quarterback — but defensive line might be the area the team should really be focused with its first-round draft pick.

Today’s episode is a companion piece to Alan’s full offseason roster needs assessment.
