The Cleveland Browns’ underwhelming 2021 season has been over for some time, but that hasn’t stopped the disappointments from continuing off the field.

Browns defensive tackle Malik McDowell was arrested in South Florida on Monday and charged with three counts of indecent exposure, resisting arrest with violence and aggravated battery of an officer. The arrest was first reported by the Sun Sentinel.

McDowell recorded 33 total tackles, three sacks and seven tackles-for-loss in one season with Cleveland.

He was originally a second round selection of the Seattle Seahawks in 2017, but had not seen the field until this season due to a head injury stemming from a car accident and previous legal trouble.

McDowell is set to be an exclusive right free agent this offseason.
