Browns Place Rookie Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah on COVID-19/Reserve List

North Carolina's Dazz Newsome (5) is forced out of bounds by Notre Dame's Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (6) after a pass reception from quarterback Sam Howell for a gain five-yard in the fourth quarter on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill, N.C.

The Cleveland Browns placed rookie linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Sunday.

Owusu-Koramoah’s addition to the list could either be because of a positive COVID-19 test or a high-risk close contact.

Cleveland selected Owusu-Koramoah in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

A two-year starter at Notre Dame, Owusu-Koramoah totaled 142 tackles, 24.5 tackles-for-loss, seven sacks five forced fumbles and an interception over his career.

Not only did he win ACC Player of the Year, but Owusu-Koramoah also named a unanimous All-American and won the Butkus Award.
