Browns Troll Steelers on Social Media on Thanksgiving
When the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cleveland Browns in Pittsburgh in Week 2, the Steelers’ social media team https://twitter.com/Browns/status/1727779048170881323?s=20″>took
a little shot at their Turnpike rivals on X, the social media site formerly known as Twitter.
The Browns waited a few days after their Week 11 win over the Steelers in Cleveland to return the favor. The Browns posted a photo of defensive end Myles Garrett sacking Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett during the Browns’ 13-10 victory on Sunday with the caption “Post-Thanksgiving Nap.”

The Steelers’ team used a bottle of “White-Aht” to troll the Browns wearing all-white uniforms for their loss at Acrisure Stadium on Nov. 18.
The clubs, separated by just 144 miles, have the oldest and most storied rivalry among AFC teams, and one of the most-played in modern NFL history. The Steelers lead the overall series, 81-63-1.
After a lengthy period of Steelers dominance following Cleveland’s return to the league in 1999, the teams have been much more evenly matched recently. The teams have tied their season series in four of the last five years. The Steelers earned one sweep in 2021, but Cleveland won the only recent playoff game between the teams after the 2020 season. Since the start of the 2018 season, the Steelers are 6-5-1 against Cleveland.
The teams could be in line for a third matchup this season. They are both currently in playoff position, though they could only face one another in the AFC Championship Game if they remain in their current seeds. The Browns are the No. 5 seed at 7-3, while the 6-4 Steelers hold the No. 7 seed.
