Not only did they recognize the students with a banquet and photoshoot with Heyward along the Allegheny River, but they were also gifted suits, dress shoes and ties to prepare for their next stage in life.

The event was a part of the foundation’s “Craig’s Closet” initiative, which provides professional attire to local high school students for use during job interviews, internships and other career centric life events.
In addition to winning the PFWA Good Guy Award, Heyward also won The Chief Award and was the Steelers’ nominee for the NFL Walter Peyton Man of the Year Award.
