Steelers Morning Rush: Can the Steelers keep winning the way they've been winning during their 4-2 start to the 2024 season?

Steelers Morning Rush

Welcome to Steelers Morning Rush, our new daily short-form podcast with Alan Saunders, giving a longer perspective on a single news topic surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers or the National Football League. Today, it’s whether or not the 4-2 start to the team’s 2024 season is sustainable in the long run.

We talked earlier when the Steelers were 3-0 about what they needed to do to give themselves a better chance to have some real success this year.

Through three more games, even though they’re 1-2 in those contests, the Steelers have done just that. They now have a league-average offense to go along with their still-dominant defense.

Even though the early portion of the Steelers’ schedule was panned, they have had nearly an average strength of schedule so far.

So if they can keep winning by doing what they’ve been doing, does that make it more likely Justin Fields keeps his starting job?

Alan breaks it down.
