Chase Claypool Sets New Career High in Receiving Yards vs. Broncos

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool set a new career-high in receiving yards on an 18-yard leaping touchdown grab from Ben Roethlisberger against the Denver Broncos Sunday.

Claypool’s previous career-high of 110 yards came in just his fourth career game, a record-setting four touchdown performance against the Philadelphia Eagles last season.

The Notre Dame product entered Sunday with 15 receptions for 211 yards in his second season. As a rookie, he caught 62 passes for 873 yards and nine touchdowns. He also run for two more scores.
