PITTSBURGH — Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool tied an NFL rookie record on Sunday by scoring his sixth overall touchdown in the first five games of his career.

Claypool scored on a 3-yard jet sweep in the third quarter of the Steelers’ game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, giving him two rushing and four receiving touchdowns on the season.

His six touchdowns in five games to start his career ties former Steelers receiver Martavis Bryant, Hall of Famer Randy Moss, Willie Gault and Clavin Ridley for the league record.

Claypool had four touchdowns in the Steelers’ Week 5 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, and scored once against the Denver Broncos in Week 2.

He entered Sunday’s game with 13 catches for 261 yards and four carries for 14 yards.
