Are Chiefs 14-1 Frauds or Monsters in Waiting? | Steelers Morning Rush

Steelers Chiefs

Welcome to Steelers Morning Rush, our new daily short-form podcast with Alan Saunders, giving a longer perspective on a single news topic surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers or the National Football League. Today, it’s the Kansas City Chiefs, who come to visit the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday as the two-time reigning Super Bowl winners and with a 14-1 record. Kansas City needs just one more win or one more Buffalo Bills loss to lock up the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC.

But are these Chiefs as good as they seem? They’ve had several fortunate wins this season, including a blocked field goal on the final play to beat the Denver Broncos, and two game-winning field goals of their own in the final seconds to top the Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Chargers.

So who are the Steelers hosting on Wednesday, the best team in the NFL of the last decade, or a 14-1 fraud of a Chiefs team that lucked its ways into some field goal wins?

Alan breaks it down.
