The Kansas City Chiefs got some big reinforcements on Thursday, returning defensive lineman Chris Jones and cornerback Charvarius Ward to practice from the COVID-19 reserve list.
Jones, who was just named to his third consecutive Pro Bowl team, is the anchor of Kansas City’s defensive line. He’s started 11 games between end and tackle this season and has six tackles for loss, seven sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
Ward has started nine games at outside cornerback and has 51 tackles, eight passes defended and one interception.
Both players were limited in practice on Thursday, but should be expected to play against the Steelers on Sunday with full participation on Friday.
