Cleveland Browns Lose Another Starter To COVID-19, Safety Ronnie Harrison

As they approach their first playoff game in 18 years, the Cleveland Browns roster continues to be impacted by COVID-19.

The Browns announced on Thursday that starting safety Ronnie Harrison has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list and will miss Sunday night’s game. This follows the news from earlier this week that that starting Pro Bowl left guard Joel Bitonio and reserve wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge, along with head coach Kevin Stefanski will also miss the game because of COVID-19 proticals.

Harrison, who was acquired in a trade from the Jacksonville Jaguars in the off-season, has played in 11 games this season and recorded 38 tackles, 1 sack, 1 fumble recovery and 1 interception for a TD. Pro Football Focus rated Harrison as the No. 12 safety in the league out of 91.

The Browns also announced that safety Andrew Sendejo has been activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

As of this afternoon, the Browns facility is still shutdown and they’ve been unable to conduct an on field practice.
