Following their unconvincing win over a depleted Baltimore Ravens squad Wednesday night, many in the national media are skeptical of the unbeaten Pittsburgh Steelers, including Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd.

During Thursday’s edition of his show The Herd on FS1, Cowherd ripped Pittsburgh for “not being a Super Bowl team,” and called their 11-0 record “hollow.”

Cowherd primarily questions the legitimacy of the opposing quarterbacks the Steelers have faced, as they have faced four different backup passers this season.

He also points to the Steelers’ lack of a consistent run game, and the loss of outside linebacker Bud Dupree for the season with a torn ACL. Both factors he believes put Pittsburgh far below the Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs.

Lastly, Cowherd says he feels the Steelers have actually gotten worse as the season has gone on, even though they have yet to lose a game.

While some of Cowherd’s criticisms are realistic, the Steelers simply have no control over who they play and what opposing quarterback they line up against. All they can do is win, and they have done just that eleven-straight times.

Pittsburgh looks to improve to 12-0 for the first time in franchise history when they host Washington on Monday.
