Could Tom Brady’s future lie with the Pittsburgh Steelers?
Well, it’s not exactly the leading choice amongst bettors for the six-time Super Bowl champion, Pittsburgh is on the board when it comes to places Brady might finish his career.
Brady, 42, just finished the final year of his contract and it has been widely speculated that he will not return to New England. Brady told reporters that it’s “pretty unlikely” that he’ll retire.
That leaves it an open question as to where Brady will finish his career.
According to SportsBetting.ag, the Cleveland Browns are the odds-on favorites to land Brady, at 5 to 1, despite the presence of incumbent starter Baker Mayfield. The Carolina Panthers and Oakland Raiders (6 to 1), Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts and Los Angeles Chargers (7 to 1) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9 to 1) are among the favorites to land Brady.
The Steelers, along with the Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles were all given 25 to 1 odds.
The site gave 5 to 6 odds of Brady returning to New England.
The Steelers are anticipating a return from two-time Super Bowl champion Ben Roethlisberger, who missed most of the 2019 season with an elbow injury. Backups Mason Rudolph and Devlin Hodges are also under team control for the 2020 season.
