Cowher, Faneca, Polamalu, Shell to Receive Hall of Fame Rings in Heinz Field Ceremony
The four recent Pittsburgh Steelers Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees will receive their Hall of Fame rings in a ceremony at Heinz Field on Oct. 17, the Hall of Fame announced on Thursday.
Bill Cowher, Alan Faneca, Troy Polamalu and Donnie Shell will be honored in a ceremony before the Steelers play the Seattle Seahawks in a nationally televised game.
The Steelers and Seahawks will kick off at 8:20 p.m.
All four were honored at the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement weekend in August, received their gold jackets and had their bronze Hall of Fame busts unveiled.
The Hall of Fame ring is the third symbol of enshrinement and is traditionally given out in the home stadium of the player, in a ceremony for fans unable to travel to Canton, Ohio.
