Rapoport of NFL Network and multiple sources confirmed to Steelers Now. This comes on the heels of the Steelers officially signing veteran quarterback Russell Wilson and trading former first-round pick quarterback Kenny Pickett to the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday.
General manager Omar Khan has dramatically altered the quarterback room since agreeing to terms with Wilson last Sunday. It’s a complete reset for a franchise that hasn’t won a playoff game in seven years. These are not traditional Steelers moves. As expected, the reaction from current and former players, Steelers Nation, and analysts is oozing with optimism.
