🏈 Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell and his wife Havana welcomed their son Beckham Lynn Boswell to the world last week.

🏈 Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth and Steelers legend Rod Woodson went through Dublin to taste Irish street food in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.

🏈 The Ireland Funds Pittsburgh Gala was celebrated at Acrisure Stadium on St. Patrick’s Day, honoring Chip Ganassi with the Daniel M. Rooney Ambassador’s Award and Evan Frazier with the Patricia R. Rooney Community Impact Award.

“It is special, and having the game in Ireland this year will be very special,” Steelers president Art Rooney II said, via Steelers.com. “Tonight is a great celebration, almost like a kickoff to the events that are going to come when we play in Dublin.

“It’s always a fun night and Saint Paddy’s Day has always been a great day to celebrate.”

🏈 DK Metcalf is now the fourth-highest paid wide receiver in the NFL, with a total value of $132 million.

🏈 Colin Cowherd of FS1 discussed how Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson’s careers have suddenly crossed paths.

🏈 So far, there have been no trades involving 1st-round picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. This is the closest to the start of the NFL Draft in which there have been no trades for 1st-round picks since 1993, when five days before that year’s Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs traded a first-round pick to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for QB Joe Montana, per ESPN’s Evan Kaplan.

🏈 Former NFL defensive back Jason McCourty thinks the Steelers should trade for 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy.

“Now if you’re the Pittsburgh Steelers, you’ve already traded for DK Metcalf, and gave him a big contract. You need to have somebody to throw the ball to them. If you’re the Steelers, why not think about calling up the 49ers and John Lynch and saying ‘I don’t know where you guys are at right now, give us a shot at Brock Purdy.’ We’ll let him be able to distribute to all the weapons we have here in Pittsburgh,” McCourty said on ESPN’s Get Up.

🏈 Former New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms said Aaron Rodgers won’t throw the ball to DK Metcalf or George Pickens if they act up.

“Here’s the other thing, if you’re a wide receiver in Pittsburgh, are you going to act up when Aaron Rodgers is quarterback? Well, if you do, you’ll never see the damn ball,” Simms said.

🏈 Free-agent quarterback Jameis Winston is scheduled to visit the New York Giants on Tuesday, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

🏈 Former NFL defensive lineman Chris Canty believes the Cleveland Browns give Russell Wilson more of a chance than the Steelers to be a playoff contender.

“Even though the Browns might not be the apple of your eye, it might end up being the best situation for you in terms of being able to revive your career and have a chance to be on a playoff contender,” Canty said on ESPN’s Unsportsmanlike. There’s an argument to be made that Cleveland with the second overall pick and with the defense that they have with Myles Garrett fully back on board presents a better chance for Russell Wilson to get into and win a playoff game than the Pittsburgh Steelers currently.”

🏈 Newly acquired Steelers safety Juan Thornhill replaced his Browns hat with a Terrible Towel and was blaring Renegade.
