The New York Giants became the first team to allow 54 unanswered points to start a season since the 1989 Pittsburgh Steelers. After losing to the Dallas Cowboys 40-0 in Week 1, the Giants trailed the Arizona Cardinals 20-0 to start the game before pulling off a second-half comeback to beat Arizona, 31-28. The Steelers lost to the Cleveland Browns 51-0 in Week 1 of the 1989 season and then started by giving up a field goal in a 41-10 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2. Legendary head coach Chuck Noll still managed to lead the Steelers to the divisional round of the playoffs that season.

๐ย WWE superstar and Pittsburgh native Corey Graves isย the official narrator of the Steelers home games for the 2023 season.
โThe Steelers kick off their home games with the Terrible Towel Twirl,โ Graves said. โWhen youโre in Acrisure Stadium, you got 60,000-plus all waving their towels above their head. I had the honor and privilege of being able to lead that this week to really kick off the season.
โBut more than that, I think more exciting personally was the reason I was on the field to begin with was I have the dubious distinction of being the narrator, the voice of this yearโs in-game intros for the Pittsburgh Steelers so for every home game this season. When the clock hits zero, the first voice you hear is mine.
โGive a big, โHere we go,โ and the video packages, and itโs honestly, I wanna say itโs a dream come true, but itโs actually more so, growing up, being born and raised in Pittsburgh, lifelong Steelers fan, itโs so cool with WWE and the NFL have been working together.
