? On Thursday afternoon, Troy Polamalu and his family toured the Steelers Hall of Honor Museum. Polamalu is in town for Mel Blount’s annual all-star celebrity roast that takes place at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Hotel.

? No Steelers players were invited by the NFL Players Association to its annual Rookie Premiere event on May 18-21 in Los Angeles. The Steelers had players at the event in past years, but for some reason didn’t get an invite this year, despite having three picks in the top 50. The NFLPA invited 45 rookies.

? Najee Harris recently visited the Tec de Monterrey, Campus in Guadalajara, Mexico. He lived with the football team, the Borregos Tec and shared with them advice on life, his career and sports.

? Ben Roethlisberger and Devlin “Duck” Hodges reunited at the Luke Combs concert last Saturday at Acrisure Stadium.

? Former Steelers cornerback and current team scout Ike Taylor turns 43 today. Born on May 5, 1980 in New Orleans, Louisiana, Taylor was the Steelers’ fourth-round pick from Louisiana Lafayette in 2003. A wide receiver when he started college, Taylor developed into the Steelers primary starting cornerback for nine seasons and won Super Bowls XL and XLIII with the club. Taylor now works as an assistant in the Steelers’ scouting department.
