🏈 Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger called out Broderick Jones on his podcast.
“You’ve got to figure out what happens at your tackle spots. People are gonna get on Dan Moore and Broderick Jones for the amount of sacks they’ve given up. Broderick needs to step it up. I’ve watched the film, and I’ve watched him make mistakes. Quite a few mistakes. He’s still growing, and he’s learning, but he can’t continue to make mistakes,” Roethlisberger said.
🏈 The Steelers’ rushing success rate was actually worse this season under Arthur Smith.
🏈 During his end-of-season news conference, Mike Tomlin revealed that he doesn’t believe the Steelers need a high draft pick to land their next franchise quarterback.
“Lamar (Jackson) wasn’t taken at the top of the draft,” Tomlin said. “(Jalen) Hurts wasn’t taken in the first round.”
Ironically, the Steelers had an opportunity to draft both Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts.
