🏈 The Pittsburgh Steelers will have a new starting Week 1 quarterback for the fifth consecutive year, which will tie them with the Atlanta Falcons for the most current consecutive streak.

🏈 Ben Roethlisberger was at Irish Creek in Kannapolis, N.C. on Monday to participate in the third annual Alex Highsmith Family Foundation Golf Fundraiser.

🏈 Cam Heyward said on the Rich Eisen Show that the Steelers are in a state of urgency

“I think we’re in a state of urgency. We have a lot of guys, like myself, that are in the latter stages of their career and we all want to win,” Heyward said. “t’s not just enough to win a playoff game, which we haven’t won in a couple years, and there’s a bad taste in our mouth because of that.”

🏈 Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk said Steelers fans should embrace Aaron Rodgers as he’s their best option since Ben Roethlisberger.

“Rodgers would instantly upgrade the position, dramatically. He would position them to make the playoffs and to win when they get there for the first time since the 2016 season,” Florio wrote. “It’s that simple. Rodgers makes the Steelers better. And Rodgers is the best option they have for 2025.”

🏈 Former NFL outside linebacker Emmanuel Acho said the Steelers quarterback situation is a complete mess.

“The Steelers are making a monumental mistake waiting on Aaron Rodgers. He’s a Band-Aid on a situation that needs constructive surgery,” Acho said on FS1’s The Facility.

🏈 ESPN ranked the Steelers 17th-best in their power rankings after free agency.

🏈 Newly acquired Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf recently worked out in Steelers gear at UCLA.

🏈 Steelers tight end Darnell Washington thought Jaylen Warren was a high-draft pick. Warren actually signed with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Okalahoma State in 2022.

“Honestly, I thought he was and this, again, I never watched football, so when I first came in, and before I knew where he went or whatever, undrafted. I thought he was like a third, second-round pick. Just how he plays and how he carries himself,” Washington said on a stream with Zach’s Tech Turf.

🏈 Former Steelers quarterback and Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw performed at a Brooks and Dunn concert in Oklahoma on March 21. Bradshaw paid tribute Toby Keith’s “Don’t Let the Old Man In.”
