? Pittsburgh Steelers long snapper Christian Kuntz is tired of hearing that he’s a Steeler just because he’s from Pittsburgh.

“People are out there still saying, ‘He’s from Pittsburgh, and he’s good with the fans and the media. That’s why he has a job, they love him there.’ That pisses me off,” Kuntz said during a recent interview with Athletic Aesthetic. “You think the NFL, you think Mr. (Art) Rooney II, you think Mike Tomlin, you think Danny Smith are putting everything on the line to hire a kid from Pittsburgh to do a job? They don’t give a shit. They don’t give a shit where you’re from. If I’m not doing my job, I wouldn’t be there.”

Kuntz starred at Chartiers Valley High School and Duquesne Univerisity before finding a role with the Steelers as a long snapper in 2021. On March 14, 2024, Kuntz signed a three-year contract extension with Pittsburgh.

? Pro Football Focus ranked the Steelers inside linebackers unit as the 13th-best in the NFL.

“The Steelers made a splash at the linebacker position this offseason by bringing in Patrick Queen from the division-rival Baltimore Ravens. Queen has improved every season since entering the league and is coming off a career-high 73.0 PFF grade. He has yet to turn 25 years old, so it’s reasonable to expect that he will continue to get better. Alongside him, Elandon Roberts posted a career-high 72.2 PFF grade on 622 snaps in 2023,” Gordon McGuinness of PFF wrote.

? Former Steelers cornerback Ross Cockrell’s sister, Anna, qualified for the Olympics in the 400M hurdles. Cockrell played for the Steelers from 2015-2016.

? An account on X posted a great old photo of Bobby Layne back to pass for the Steelers at Pitt Stadium.

? Alex Nicholson shared a clip of the process of drawing Steelers great Franco Harris.

? Pro Football Journal posted an All-22 video of former Steelers safety Mike Wagner coming off the edge for a sack.
