? Pittsburgh Steelers inside linebacker Cole Holcomb is back training after suffering a serious season-ending knee injury in the Steelers’ Week 9 game against the Tennessee Titans. Holcolmb had a sleeve on his left knee, but appears to be on the right track in his recovery.
Really encouraging is seeing Cole Holcomb working out today. Obviously wearing a knee sleeve but this is great after months of social media blackout. Hope he’s able to get back on the field pic.twitter.com/qd3uLSlgbg

? During his appearance on the Rich Eisen Show, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette suggested that the Steelers could make a splash move at wide receiver.
“Or bigger is all I will tell you Rich and we shall see, but that is another step that they are going to make. Like I said, it might not even be Mike Williams, it might be a bigger catch if you will. No pun intended.”
Williams signed with the New York Jets on Tuesday. However, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk sparked speculation when he sent a message to Mike Tomlin on X.
? Penn Live: Gov. Josh Shapiro is throwing his support behind the Pittsburgh Steelers bid to host the 2026 or 2027 NFL draft.
Shapiro said holding the draft in the Steel City would be an economic shot in the arm to Allegheny County and the Pennsylvania economy with the potential to bring in more than 350,000 visitors and $100 million in spending.
“As the birthplace of America – and as we prepare to celebrate our country’s 250th birthday in 2026 – the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be a central hub of economic activity over the next several years, and we would be honored for the NFL Draft to be a centerpiece of these celebrations,” Shapiro said.
