? Former Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker Arthur Moats thinks newly acquired inside linebacker Patrick Queen is going to be a fan favorite in Pittsburgh.

“This dude can play downhill versus the run, athletic in coverage. More importantly, the mindset. This dude plays the game physically and fast. That’s what we need and that’s what we’re going to love about Patrick Queen,” Moats said on his podcast.

“You see that a lot, man,” he said of Queen going to stick up for a teammate. “He will not let his guys be fighting one-on-one and I love to see that because it’s a mentality.”

? Steelers linebackers coach Aaron Curry worked out Kentucky linebacker Trevin Wallace at the Kentucky pro day, according to Ross McCorkle of Steelers Depot.

In addition to Wallace, Curry also went to Ohio State to scout Tommy Eichenberg and Steele Chambers. The most notable of those players, Wallace, a 6-foot-1, 237-pound junior linebacker, ran a 4.51-second 40-yard dash and a 37.5-inch vertical jump at the NFL Combine. In his three seasons at Kentucky, he recorded 166 tackles, including an 80-tackle season in 2023. He also had 8.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, an interception and a forced fumble.

? An announcement on the Philadelphia Eagles’ opponent for the Brazil game is “not anticipated” at the NFL Annual Meetings this week, and multiple teams are still in play (including the Cleveland Browns), league spokesman Brian McCarthy told Mary Kay Cabot Cleveland.com. The Steelers are a possible opponent for the Eagles in the Brazil game.

? Former Steelers wide receiver and current Carolina Panther Diontae Johnson said some Steelers fans need to get a life. Johnson made a post stating, “They be fumbling a real one ???‍♂️,” which got fans thinking he was talking about the Steelers.

“I love Pittsburgh regardless of what happened yaw fans delusional and swea everything I tweet be about them yaw need get a life!” Johnson said on X.

? Steel City Star shared a throwback clip of former Steelers wide receiver Lynn Swann ballet dancing on Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. This episode was filmed at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater School and originally aired on June 4, 1981.
