? One week into the free agency of former Indianapolis Colts All-Pro linebacker Shaq Leonard, it does not appear that the Pittsburgh Steelers have much interest in him.
Leonard, who was waived by the Colts last week, had a free agent visit with the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday, and is scheduled to have another with the Philadelphia Eagles this week, but there has been no reported interested by Omar Khan and the Steelers braintrust.
The Steelers have been playing without starting linebackers and leading tacklers Kwon Alexander and Cole Holcomb, who were both lost for the season to injuries in Weeks 9 and 10. But Elandon Roberts and Mykal Walker have stepped up in their place, drawing praise from head coach Mike Tomlin and their teammates.

? Steelers rookie cornerback Joey Porter Jr. appeared on the Richard Sherman podcast.
? Born on this date, November 29, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, 1934, Art Davis was the Pittsburgh Steelers’ first-round pick in the 1956 NFL Draft. A Mississippi State alum, the Steelers made Davis the fifth overall pick, but he played just nine games with the franchise. He made two starts in 1956, rushing five times for six yards. He also returned three punts and caught one pass.
He was limited by a shoulder injury suffered in the College All-Star game before the season and then again by a knee injury suffered during his rookie season that eventually ended his career. After missing all of the 1957 season, Davis retired in 1958.
After his playing career, he took up coaching, first at Biloxi High School and then at LSU, Georgia Tech under Bobby Dodd and Texas under Darrell Royal.
Davis died at the age of 86 in 2021.
