🏈 Tom Pelissero of NFL Network believes the Pittsburgh Steelers have bought themselves some time to wait on Aaron Rodgers with the Mason Rudolph signing.

“The Steelers, by virtue of signing Mason Rudolph, bought themselves some time here because now worst-case, if this doesn’t work out with Rodgers, you could roll with Mason Rudolph who, let’s be honest, over the last several years with all the quarterback changes since Ben Roethlisberger retired, probably the best stretch of football they’ve played as an offense was down the stretch in 2023 when Mason Rudolph took over,” Pelissero said.

🏈 Jeremy Fowler of ESPN provided an update on Aaron Rodgers.

“I’m told from sources that Rodgers does have standing offers from the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants. Teams are waiting this out, waiting on Rodgers,” Fowler said. “The feeling is there’s not just a money consideration here. There’s fit, there’s surroundings, all those things. Minnesota Vikings are sort of on the periphery here. Sources there tell me that it’s possible they get involved with Rodgers, but the feeling this week has been probably not. They want to develop J.J. McCarthy.”

🏈 Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk also weighed in on the Aaron Rodgers saga.

“Ultimately, it comes down to what Rodgers wants, and what the Vikings want. Are the Steelers and Giants leverage for the Vikings? Are the Vikings leverage for the Steelers or Giants? Do the Giants realize, given that they recently hosted Russell Wilson and Joe Flacco, that they’re the team Rodgers is least likely to choose?” Florio wrote. “We’ll all keep waiting. And until Rodgers speaks for himself on the matter, the reports and rumors and speculation and candid (or staged) beach photos will continue.”

Florio added that Joe Flacco could be an option for the Steelers.

“Eventually, he’ll get an offer. Maybe more than one. And if the Steelers are looking to go cheaper than Rodgers at the position, Flacco could be their best move,” Florio wrote.

🏈 Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart could be in play for the Steelers at 21st overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, according to Jordan Reid of ESPN.

🏈 Todd McShay believes the Steelers should consider a quarterback at 21st overall in the draft.

“Pittsburgh sitting there at 21. Aaron Rodgers from everything I’ve been told he wants to play two more years, you can only really count on one at this point in his career,” McShay said. “So this would be let’s win now and also let’s take this opportunity, whether it’s in the first round or the second round to draft a quarterback we can develop.”

🏈 Some with the Vikings say it’s literally “50/50” whether Aaron Rodgers signs with the team, per Adam Silver of The Athletic.

🏈 Russell Wilson wished Chris Boswell a Happy Birthday on Instagram on Sunday. Boswell celebrated his 34th birthday yesterday.

🏈 Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. is hosting his first youth camp in Pittsburgh. It will take place on June 21 at Chartiers Playground & Field.

🏈 New Browns QB Kenny Pickett took a tour of the Cleveland’s facility before signing his deal.
