? Mike Garafolo of NFL Network said a Brandon Aiyuk deal would be done in a matter of seconds if the San Francisco 49ers agree to trade their star wide receiver to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

“I believe based on every conversation I’ve had, if the 49ers say, ‘Hey, Omar Khan, Pittsburgh Steelers. Deal done, we’re sending him to you.’ Boom. The deal’s done in a matter of seconds. And then the contract’s done in a matter of minutes as well,” Garafolo said on NFL Insiders Monday night.

? Steelers legend and Hall of Famer Donnie Shell was at training camp on Monday.

“What an honor to have @donnie_shell, and his son Donnie, at practice today. Such an incredible story, from undrafted free agent to Hall of Famer and four-time Super Bowl champ. He is someone young and older players can learn a lot from,” Mike Tomlin wrote on X.

? Former NFL offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz was impressed with rookie Zach Frazier’s NFL debut.

“The @steelers second round pick Zack Frazier looked the part in their first preseason game. (Number 54 at C). Good movement in the run game. Can see the quickness in his zone blocks. Pass pro was strong. Here’s a small sample of those blocks,” Schwartz wrote on X.

? Former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky broke down Justin Fields’ performance against the Houston Texans in the preseason opener. Orlovsky thought it was an up and down outing for the Steelers quarterback.

? On one play on Friday night, there was some route confusion with George Pickens in the slot that resulted in a Justin Fields sack. It appears that Pickens ran the wrong route.
