? Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin raved about linebacker Patrick Queen during his appearance on the Rich Eisen Show on Wednesday.

“Man, I love Patrick Queen. I can’t believe Patrick Queen plays for us,” Tomlin told Eisen. “I smile every time I hear his name because I’ve seen just firsthand what he’s capable of as a young, talented player. He’s got the combination of youth and experience.”

? CBS Sports analyst Pete Prisco thinks the Steelers are without a doubt the worst team in the AFC North.

? NFL historian Kevin Gallagher shared a Howard Cosell interview with a 21-year-old rookie Terry Bradshaw during his first nationally-televised appearance as a member of the Steelers on Aug. 28, 1970.

? Host of the 95.7 The Game Mark Willard thinks Brandon Aiyuk is not worth the drama for the San Francisco 49ers. Aiyuk, , who’s long been seeking a contract extension, did not show up for the practice period open to the media on Wednesday.

“Brandon Aiyuk is a pain in the rear,” Aiyuk said. “This experience has changed my mind as to whether or not the 49ers should lock him up long-term. That’s a bad idea. Don’t hitch your wagon to this player…This is not worth it.”

? Mitch Trubisky, who is now with the Buffalo Bills, has the highest quarterback cap hit ($4.6 million) for the Steelers this season. Russell Wilson and Justin Fields have a combined cap hit of $4.4 million.

? New Steelers wide receiver Brandon Johnson’s familiarity with Russell Wilson is one of the selling points for the team taking a flier on him on the practice squad.

Johnson spent the last two season with the Denver Broncos, recording 25 catches for 326 yards and five touchdowns. He was cut on Tuesday as part of the Broncosā€™ trim down from 91 to 53 players.

? PennLive: Two state legislators say Pittsburgh Steelers fans in south-central Pennsylvania are being blitzed by Baltimore Ravens games, and they want the NFL to fix it.

ā€œItā€™s time to put up a Steel Curtain along the Mason-Dixon Line and make sure Steelers fans get Immaculate Reception,ā€ said Democratic state Rep. Dave Madsen of Dauphin County, in a pun-heavy statement.

Madsen introduced a House resolution in March urging the Federal Communications Commission and NFL to work on taking fansā€™ desires into account when designating secondary TV markets.

According to the statement from Madsen and co-sponsoring Rep. Justin Fleming, also a Dauphin County Democrat, the FCC allows NFL teams to claim secondary TV markets based on geography, which allows the Ravens to claim Harrisburg as their territory ā€œeven though fan support in the area is overwhelmingly behind the Steelers.ā€

Burt Lauten, the Steelersā€™ communications director, said that ā€œit would be beneficial to show our games to Steelers Nation in that areaā€ to accommodate fans.
