🏈 Pat Bostick of 93.7 The Fan ripped Najee Harris for his critical comments on the Pittsburgh Steelers after signing with the Los Angeles Chargers.

“I get a little sick of the excuses from Najee, quite frankly. You were given every opportunity to be successful here, a lot of people bought your jersey. Why spit on Pittsburgh on your way out, I don’t get it?” Bostick said.

🏈 DK Metcalf touched on leaving the Seahawks during the Da Get Got Podcast with Marshawn Lynch & Mike Robinsoin.

🏈 Former NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson spoke on how Aaron Rodgers could impact the Steelers.

“As soon as that brotha [Mike Tomlin] doesn’t have the success that people think that he should have, the first thing they start to do is call for his job again. They’re not gonna say Aaron Rodgers,” Johnson said on FS1’s Speak.

🏈 Thursday marked the 13-year anniversary of Steelers legend Hines Ward’s retirement.

🏈 ESPN analyst Michelle Smallmon believes the Steelers will eventually move on from Aaron Rodgers in free agency.

“I think the Steelers are off the board too. The more that I think about this, at some point the Steelers I think are gonna throw in the towel and say, ‘We’re done waiting.’ And Adam Schefter is saying, Aaron Rodgers is operating on his own timeline,” Simmons said.

🏈 CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones said many in the league think Aaron Rodgers will choose Pittsburgh over the New York Giants.

“I can tell you folks around the league believe that if Aaron Rodgers chooses to continue playing that he would choose the Pittsburgh Steelers over the New York Giants,” Jones said. “That’s from looking at how the team is constructed and built, the path to the playoffs. That is not coming from Aaron Rodgers’ camp whatsoever.”

🏈 Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated believes Aaron Rodgers wants to take one more swing at playing football.

“I don’t think he wants to go out the way he went out last year. I had a long conversation with him over the summer, where he said he didn’t want to go out the way he went out in 2023, which was with the Achilles injury,” Breer said on the Rich Eisen Show. “If he didn’t want to go out hurt, I would assume he wouldn’t want to go out playing the way the Jets did at the end of the year last year. And that was just a dumpster fire of a season from start to finish for everyone involved. So I do think he has it, you know, in his head that he wants to take one more swing in it.”

🏈 Former NFL scout John Middlekauff believes Aaron Rodgers won’t save the Giants or Steelers.

“It does feel like we’re still holding on to Rogers at 41 years old. He doesn’t want to get hit and playing in the cold like it ain’t gonna work,” Middlekauff said. “This discussion about like could he save the Steelers or what could he do with the Giants, like nothing. He’s not gonna do anything.”
