šŸˆ The Pittsburgh Steelers most likely will lose running back Najee Harris in free agency this offseason, and itā€™s not a strong free agent class at RB. Luckily for the Steelers, there are 30+ backs in this class with legit draftable grades, according to Dane Brugler of The Athletic.

šŸˆ Former Steelers guard Ramon Foster thinks it would be the wrong move to fire Mike Tomlin.

ā€œWeā€™re talking about Coach Tomlin. Iā€™ll put it this wayā€¦ This is my opinion. I didnā€™t want him fired, but I also thought this. If there was a year to move on, I thought it was this one, considering the circumstances. Five straight losses, another first-round bounce, offense looked anemic, but you still have some bones. If you have a guy in mind that you wanted to bring in. I donā€™t know who the guy is,ā€ Foster said on Ben Roethlisbergerā€™s Footbahlin podcast.

šŸˆ The New York Jets have started calling coaching and general manager candidates to inform them they are going in another direction, according to Connor Hughes of SportsNet New York. Hughesā€™ sources are under the belief that Aaron Glenn and Lance Newmark will be named the teamā€™s next HC, GM. Steelers offensive coordinator interviewed for the Jetsā€™ HC position last week.

šŸˆ Four teams in the NFL have a fourth-down conversion rate above 70%. All four of those teams are in the Conference Championships.

The Washington Commanders lead the NFL with a remarkable 87.0% conversion rate on fourth down, followed by the Buffalo Bills (72.7%), Kansas City Chiefs (70.6%) and Philadelphia Eagles (70.4%).

Meanwhile, the Steelers ranked 31st in the NFL in fourth-down conversation rate (38.9%) this season. Only the Dallas Cowboys were worse (35.7%).

šŸˆ On this day in 1979, the Steelers defeated the Dallas Cowboys, 35-31, in Super Bowl XIII at the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida. Pittsburgh became the first franchise to win the Super Bowls three times.

šŸˆ Also, on this day in 1992, the Steelers named Bill Cowher as their new head coach.
