🏈 Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Roman Wilson recently put in some offseason work. Wilson is looking to bounce back after an injury-riddled rookie campaign.
🏈 Alex Highsmith, Cam Heyward and Isaiahh Loudermilk recently got some work in with pass-rush specialist Dez Walker.
🏈 The Steelers have the third-least expensive offensive line in the NFL ($28.3 million), according to Warren Sharp of Sharp Football. Four of the Steelers starters on the O-line are still on their rookie contracts.
🏈 The Steelers had a virtual pre-draft meeting with Oregon wide receiver Treason Holden last week, according to a report by Justin Melo of The Draft Network.
🏈 Steelers quarterback Skylar Thompson got married over the weekend.
🏈 Warren Sharp is surprised that the Steelers are being held hostage by Aaron Rodgers, as Russell Wilson put up better numbers in several key categories last season.
🏈 Mina Kimes of ESPN would like to see Shedeur Sanders end up with the Steelers.
“They have a really good receiving trio now in DK Metcalf, George Pickens, and their tight end, Pat Freiermuth. I think the offensive line is heading in the right direction, particularly on the interior,” Kimes said on ESPN’s NFL Live. “We’ll see what they get out of their former first-round draft pick, Troy Fautanu, now that he’s healthy. I also think Arthur Smith would like Sanders’ skill set, particularly his willingness to throw accurately over the middle of the field. Last year, both Justin Fields and Russell Wilson aren’t really quarterbacks who target that part of the field. Arthur Smith really prioritizes it.”
