🏈 Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson worked out in a retro 1990s “Blitzburgh” shirt.

🏈 The Steelers released their 2024 draft collection merchandise on Monday.

🏈 Former Steelers free safety Ryan Clark blasted the hip-drop tackle ban, which was passed unanimously by the owners on Monday.

“Go ahead and outlaw bringing offensive players to the ground! Thats where it’s headed. Make every game the pro bowl! This is getting ridiculous,” Clark wrote on X.

🏈 Former Steelers defensive back and defensive coordinator Tony Dungy also disagrees with the hip-drop tackle ban.

I’m all for player safety. We need to make the game as safe as possible. And I must admit I don’t know what a “hip drop” tackle is. Having played & coached defense I can tell you there is only one way to make a tackle from behind without dropping your weight-which could be worse,” Dungy wrote on X.

🏈 Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. had the best completion percentage over expected (13.7%) when targeted among cornerbacks in 2023 (min. 60% of snaps), according to Tej Smith of SumerSports.

🏈 According to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, it has been 66 years since the last time the Steelers completely gutted the quartreback position. In 1957, they brought in Earl Morrall, Len Dawson and Jack Kemp to replace Ted Marchibroda and Jack Scarbath. Otherwise, there was always at least one holdover.

🏈 Newly acquired Steelers wide receiver Quez Watkins had a 79-yard catch-and-run touchdown against Pittsburgh in the preseason in 2021.

Coming out of Southern Mississippi, Watkins ran a 4.35 40-yard dash and had a 36 1/2-inch vertical at the NFL Combine, measuring in at 6-foot, 185 pounds. Over his tenure in Philadelphia, Watkins developed as a big play threat.

🏈 T.J. Watt hopes Russell Wilson brings a Super Bowl to Pittsburgh.

🎥 Mike Tomlin sat down with Rob King to talk about the hiring of offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, the new additions to the roster and more from the NFL’s Annual League Meeting.
