🏈 WPXI: The 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh is expected to be the biggest event in the city’s history. Jerad Bachar of VisitPittsburgh expects between 500,000 to 700,000 visitors
“In just 13 short months, we will welcome between 500,000 to 700,000 visitors to the shores of Downtown Pittsburgh,” Bachar said.
🏈 Pittsburgh officials preparing for the 2026 NFL Draft will face a unique logistical challenge never before encountered by a host city, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. The logistical issues involves getting fans around an event spanning two sites separated by a river.
“How do we deal with parking? How do we deal with shuttle services? How do we get people from place to place?” said Schooley, CEO of P3R, which hosts events like the city’s annual marathon and is helping lead planning efforts for the draft.
🏈 Former Green Bay Packers safety and Hall of Famer LeRoy Butler believes Aaron Rodgers makes the Pittsburgh Steelers a Super Bowl contender.
“If he comes in, I think you have a legitimate chance to get to the Super Bowl,” Butler said on the Go Long Podcast. “If Aaron Rodgers goes to Pittsburgh, you can expect them to be in the Super Bowl. They’ll be my Super Bowl pick if he goes there.”
🏈 Former Steelers defensive back and Hall of Fame NFL head coach Tony Dungy questions what the Steelers are doing with Aaron Rodgers.
“That guy’s got to be on board. Aaron Rodgers should be saying, if he wants to do this, ‘Yeah, I can take you to a Super Bowl.’ Let’s go. I love these veteran guys. Let’s get there and get rolling. Let me get there and get started,'” Dungy said on Football Night in America. “Not, ‘Hey, I’ll get back to you in a little while and we’ll see what happens’. No, I don’t want that from the guy who I think is gonna be the hero for me.”
🏈 Skip Bayless called out Cam Heyward for backtracking on Aaron Rodgers.
“Amused by Cam Hayward’s backtrack on Aaron Rodgers. He realized exactly what I said on my show – that it has come to this for the Pittsburgh Steelers … they now desperately need what’s left of Aaron Rodgers. It’s looking like that or Mason Rudolph,” Bayless wrote on X.
