🏈 NFL.com released its preview for the Steelers-Browns game on Sunday. All 10 analysts on the panel have the Steelers winning. The Steelers are currently 6.5-point favorites over the Browns.

🏈 Former Steelers running back Jerome Bettis’ son has officially signed with Notre Dame. Jerome Bettis Jr., who plays wide receiver, is a three-star recruit out of Woodward Academy in Atlanta.

🏈 Former Steelers offensive lineman Ramon Foster, who was jointly appointed by the NFL and NFLPA, has upheld the three-game suspension of Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair. Al-Shaair had a brutal hit on Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence as he was sliding in Sunday’s game.

🏈 Russell Wilson was named Nickelodeon Most Valuable Player (NVP) for his Week 13 performance against the Cincinnati Bengals.

🏈 T.J. Watt, Nick Herbig and Cam Heyward have been dominant this season. All three have top-5 grades from Pro Football Focus at their respective positions.

🏈 ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler believes Najee Harris really helped himself in free agency.

“One player who has really helped himself is Pittsburgh’s Najee Harris,” Fowler wrote. “He’s on pace for nearly 1,200 rushing yards, which would be a career high, and is about to eclipse 1,000 yards for the fourth time in his four seasons. None of his current peers have accomplished that feat. Yes, open-field speed is an issue, but he can dictate the pace in the right offense.”

🏈 Former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger thinks Joey Porter Jr. needs to cut down his penalties. Porter was called for six penalties (four accepted) in Sunday’s win over the Bengals.

“The little concerns that I had a little bit watching the game, but not going to get too caught up in it, James (Harrison) and I talked about it was the penalties. You know, you got JPJ, got called for a lot of penalties and we’ve talked about that, that’s your double edged sword,” Roethlisberger said on his Footbahlin podcast. You like the physicality, you like how he can follow receivers, you like how he shuts guys down, but you gotta cut down on those penalties because they’re going to bite you in the butt at some point.

“As long as he doesn’t let it define him and he’s going back to work, which I know his work ethic, I know he’ll do, he’s a hard worker. He’s gonna come back this week and be ready to go to prove who he is and what he is and I think he’s an up and coming young lockdown cornerback in this league.”
