? Fifty years ago, the Pittsburgh Steelers, reversed their franchise’s fortunes and launched a dynasty by winning Super Bowl IX.  In honor of the anniversary, the Pro Football Hall of Fame will debut an exhibit entitled “A Legacy Forged In Black & Gold” on Jan. 20.

The exhibit will include the Steelers six Lombardi Trophies, six Super Bowl rings, and all 27 of the Bronze Busts of the enshrinees who contributed to the team’s success all under one roof.

? According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Buffalo dipping sauce will not be sold at select McDonald’s locations across the Pittsburgh region until after the Steelers-Bills game on Sunday. Bubba’s Burghers in Southpointe started its boycott on Buffalo sauce and Buffalo chicken dip on Monday. The ban will last until after the game.

? Not many people are giving the Steelers a chance on Sunday, but Skip Bayless thinks the Buffalo Bills are not a juggernaut.

“They’re getable. You say they’re at home and it’s going to be snowing and freezing. You think Pittsburgh cares about that? We’re not talking about the Dolphins here. We’re talking about the Steelers. Steel Town,” Bayless said on the Undisputed.

? Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin would be shocked if Mike Tomlin walked away after this season:

“I find it hard to believe. I spoke with Coach Tomlin. They called me earlier before the season. And when I talk with him, you know what he was talking about? He said, ‘Michael, I got another opportunity to go and raise up some young men and bring the best out of them. He said, I love it. I can’t wait to go do it. I want to run towards it.’ And he talks about running towards the issue. He’s talking about running towards an issue, not away from an issue. And that’s why it shocks me to hear him say he’s thinking about walking away,” Irvin said on the Undisputed.

? After fans demanded it, the Steelers Pro Shop has announced they now have No. 2 Mason Rudolph jerseys for sale.

? Happy Birthday to former Steelers guard David DeCastro, born on January 11, 1990 in Kirkland, Washington. DeCastro was selected by the Steelers out of Stanford at 24th overall in the 2012 NFL Draft. DeCastro started 124 games for the Steelers from 2012-2020 and was named to six Pro Bowls (2015-2020). He also was named first-team All-Pro twice (2015, 2017) and second-team All-Pro once (2016).

? Thursday marks the 15th anniversary of the Steelers’ 35-24 win over the San Diego Chargers in the 2008 AFC Divisional Round game at Heinz Field.
