? According to one survey, Pittsburgh Steelers fans were named the fifth-worst in terms of gameday behavior.

“You might want to bring along your earmuffs the next time you’re at a Pittsburgh Steelers game, and not just because of the city’s cold winter temperatures. According to respondents, Steelers fans are the most foul-mouthed in the league, earning them the No. 5 spot on our “rudest” NFL fans ranking,” the administrators of the survey wrote.

? Pro Football Focus thinks the Steelers’ offensive line is their biggest weakness heading into the season.

“The Steelers struggled to protect Kenny Pickett all last season, and the result was him getting knocked out for the year in Week 13. The highest-graded pass blocker from last season’s unit was Isaac Seumalo at just 66.4, and he’s expected to miss the first month of the season with a pectoral injury,” PFF wrote. “Starting left tackle Dan Moore allowed a whopping 56 pressures last season, eight of which were converted into sacks, resulting in a 42.1 pass-blocking grade, making the offensive line the Steelers’ top priority in the draft.

“Pittsburgh wasted no time rebuilding their line from the ground up, drafting three linemen within the first four rounds. The team’s top two picks, tackle Troy Fautanu and center Zach Frazier, should be starting by Week 1, while fourth-rounder Mason McCormick could see more playing time as the season progresses.

“The Steelers heavily invested in their line in the draft and will be counting on a lot of youth to keep their quarterback upright, which could lead to some early-season struggles.”

? PFF thinks Russell Wilson will be the X-factor for the Steelers in 2024.

“Russell Wilson won perhaps the most significant quarterback battle this preseason, but being named the Week 1 starter doesn’t guarantee his job security. The presence of Justin Fields looms large as Wilson tries to lead the Steelers back to the playoffs,” PFF wrote.

“Wilson brings experience and a history of success, though the past few seasons haven’t been kind to him—it’s been three years since he last earned a PFF grade of 80.0 or higher. Fields, in contrast, is young and a much more explosive athlete at this stage of his career, offering greater long-term potential than Wilson. However, his flaws as a passer were frequently exposed in Chicago, and he’ll need a specialized offensive system that plays to his strengths.”

? Steelers Community Relations: On Tuesday, Larry Ogunjobi held his annual Back-To-School event where he provided students at Urban Academy with backpacks and school supplies to prepare them for the new school year.

? The Steelers Pro Shop released the Pittsburgh Steelers Nike Pegasus 41 shoes.

? Steel City Star showcased Chuck Noll’s 100th career win as the Steelers head coach. Noll reached the milestone on Monday Night Football against the New England Patriots in 1979. Coincidentally, Noll’s 200th win will also be against the Patriots.
