🏈 The Pittsburgh Steelers are most likely to be the No. 3 or No. 5 seed in the AFC playoffs. They have a 36.2% chance to be the No. 3 seed, while their chances to be the No. 5 seed are 42.3%. The Steelers most likely will play the Los Angeles Chargers if they’re the third seed, while they’ll most likely travel to Houston for the Wild Card Round if they’re the fifth seed.

The Steelers have a 9.3% chance to be the No. 6 seed. If that occurs, they most likely will travel to Baltimore for the first round.

🏈 Former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger defended Russell Wilson on his crucial fumble in Saturday’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens. He doesn’t blame Wilson for not sliding.

“I feel like if he would’ve slide and we would’ve went back and watched it, the fans would’ve been like, why’d he slide?” Roethlisberger said on his Footbahlin podcast. “Why didn’t he try to make a play? You’ve got a guy that’s, I don’t care if he’s 35, 36 37, how old Russ is. Russ is an athlete. When you watch that end zone view, and you see him running, there’s one guy coming from the center of the field. There’s no reason that Russ shouldn’t beat that guy.”

🏈 Calvin Austin is the Steelers’ second-leading receiver this year. But he is averaging just 34.5 yards per game. The last time Pittsburgh’s second-leading receiver averaged less yards per game was Dwight Stone in 1992 (33.4), according to Josh Rowntree of 93.7 The Fan.

🏈 Former Steelers defensive back Tony Dungy reflected on watching the Immaculate Reception as a senior in high school.

“I was a senior in high school watching this game on TV with my dad. I said, ‘This is the luckiest play I’ve ever seen.’ When I got to the Steelers 5 years later I found out it wasn’t luck. Franco practiced with that effort and hustle every single play, every day!” Dungy wrote on X.

🏈 Steel City Star posted an exclusive clip of the Immaculate Reception uninterrupted from the start of the play to the extra point, then from the ensuing kickoff to the end.

🏈 Alex Highsmith was the highest-graded Steeler f(76.7) from Saturday’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
