🏈 Former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley thinks Cordarrelle Patterson is a great signing by the Steelers.

“Great get by @steelers in C. Patterson! With kick off rule change …this is a great one!” Haley wrote on X.

🏈 Cordarrelle Paterson hold the NFL record for kickoff returns with nine.

🏈 NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said the Philadelphia Eagles’ opponent in Brazil is expected to be announced next week. The Steelers are one of nine possible teams.

🏈 Former Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell is glad to see the hip-drop tackle get banned by the league. Bell suffered a season-ending ACL injury due to a hip-drop tackle by former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict in 2015.

“Ppl complaining about the hip drop tackle gettin banned .. of course it’s mostly defenders 🤦🏾‍♂️. Stop the cryin, too many unnecessary injuries happen from the hip drop tackle .. learn to use ya pads like they taught you in lil league .. lol,” Bell wrote on X.

🏈 Steel City Star shared a clip of a WTAE segment on Jack Ham’s Hall of Fame induction in 1988.

🏈 Mike Tomlin discussed the Steelers all-new quarterback room and a motivated Russell Wilson during an interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio at the NFL owner’s meetings.

🏈 Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: Arbitrator Gary P. Caruso has sided with the Pittsburgh Steelers in a long-running battle with the Sports & Exhibition Authority over who was responsible for paying for improvements to the main scoreboard at Acrisure Stadium before the 2018 season.

But in doing so, Mr. Caruso capped the damages the football team is entitled to at $964,015 — nearly $236,000 less than it originally had sought — and ruled against its request for pre-judgment interest totaling nearly $300,000 more.

The dispute involved $3 million improvements made by the Steelers, through affiliate PSSI Stadium LLC, to the scoreboard at the south end of the stadium.

🏈 Per Brandon Kravitz of Rotowire, Mike Tomlin took the time to talk to a member of the media’s mother who is in bad health at the NFL Annual Meetings.

🎥 Steelers general manager Omar Khan sat down with Rob King of Steelers.com to talk about the new additions to the team so far this offseason and more.
