🏈 The NFL salary cap is set at $279.2 million for the 2025 season, the league announced on Thursday. It’s an increase of $23.8 million from last year. With massive TV deals and the NFL finding new ways of revenue, the cap has doubled over the last decade.

Pittsburgh currently has $60 million in cap space, which is the fourth-most in the AFC. And there’s still moves to be made. Overall, the Steelers have the eighth-most cap space in the NFL, according to Over The Cap.

🏈 Steelers punter Cameron Johnson posted a video of himself running at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex. Johnston suffered a devastating season-ending ACL injury in Week 1 last season.

“Felt great to be back running on the field again today,” Johnston wrote on X.
