🏈 Rich Eisen believes Aaron Rodgers will get a contract North of $40 million.

“I think Aaron Rodgers is gonna start with a four. North of $40 million. How about this? Two years, $70 million, with incentives that can pop it up more,” Eisen said.

🏈 Jeremy Fowler of ESPN gave the latest on the Aaron Rodgers saga.

“The Pittsburgh Steelers do remain optimistic. Based on everything I’m hearing, they are willing to wait this out.” Fowler said. “And a lot of people I’ve talked to in the quarterback market, some sources close to Jameis Winston’s process, Russell Wilson, etc. They believe that Rodgers must have some sort of assurance from the Steelers, or vice versa, that they could end up together. They’ve already talked contract potential parameters, he visited with the team. … So does he continue to wait until closer to the draft, or do they come to some sort of agreement [before that]? It appears that nothing is imminent right now, and you can expect the unpredictable with Aaron Rodgers.”

🏈 Charles Davis of NFL.com has the Steelers selecting Mississippi quarterback Jaxson Dart at 21st overall in his latest mock draft.

“It wasn’t long ago that the Steelers selected Kenny Pickett at No. 20 overall. Three years and one pick later in Round 1, they draft another QB that they believe will be their guy for the future, whether Aaron Rodgers eventually joins them or not,” Davis wrote.

🏈 Former New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison doesn’t believe Aaron Rodgers going to the Steelers is a good situation.

“I look at Aaron Rodgers and everything that’s happened to him the last few years, and he just does not look like any resemblance of the same quarterback,” Harrison said on Football Night in America. “At times, he’s gonna give you some great moments in spot duty, but overall, I don’t trust him. I don’t trust that he’s gonna stay healthy. I don’t trust that it’s gonna be a good situation.”

🏈 Las Vegas Raiders All-Pro defensive end Maxx Crosby predicts that Aaron Rodgers will retire.

“I think he retires. I think the fact that he’s not with Davante and he’s not very familiar with Pittsburgh, I don’t know. I think he retires,” Crosby said on The Rush with Maxx Crosby podcast. “He’s about 42 now. I would like that. I feel like that would make sense, him going to the Steelers. I think they need a quarterback; they need a guy who’s a vet, a proven dude. But I don’t know. I don’t see it. I just don’t see that as a thing. I can’t see him in a Pittsburgh uniform. My brain can’t put that together.”

🏈 Former New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman thinks Aaron Rodgers should make a decision sooner rather than later.

“If I was Aaron Rodgers, I wouldn’t want to get into the same predicament as I got into with the Jets,” Edelman said on the Dudes On Dudes podcast. “You get there kind of late, you don’t really practice that much, and all of a sudden, the season comes out and we’re not looking like we need to be looking because we’re not on the same page. Wherever he’s gonna sign, I would sign as soon as possible so you can learn the players around the team that you’re gonna be playing with. If you watch last year, on the Jets, I think Week 8 on, Aaron Rodgers played pretty damn good football. That’s because he started to learn his players, I feel.”
